A Quick Note on Trust, Representatives, and Law Enforcement
I'm having a hard time understanding why police officers think they can earn the trust of the people when they literally turn their backs on the people's elected representatives. These organizations have so far to go just to get back to a place at which they can begin to earn that trust. And yet they continue to run as fast as they can in the other direction. I guess one possibility is that earning the trust of the people is just not that high a priority for some of them.
